My question is: What is the divorce rate on Match.com?.
My 2nd question is: Ok everyone I need some advice on a situation that happened to me last Friday and it has been bothering me ever since. Long story short, I met this great woman at a law school open-bar social function. We hit it off real well, had a great conversation and a great time. We both were getting pretty drunk as the night went on. There came a time in the conversation when I told of her this show I wanted to go to and she mentioned some interest in it, and she asked to exchange phone numbers. I joked around and said that I don't give my number to random people at bars, but for some reason I still can't seem to figure out, (I was stupid, too drunk, or just scared...
I really want to get back in touch with her, so I came up with a couple different options, please give me some pros, cons, or any other advice: 1: I did get the card of her guy friend she was with for some reason. Would calling or e-mailing this guy and asking about her or ask if they all wanted to meet up be a good idea?2: Place a missed connections add on craigslist? Not too sure if this works at all and seems a bit desperate/pathetic.3: Look her up on Facebook or Myspace (assuming she has on) and giving her a message telling her that I messed up? That might seem a bit too stalkerish....4: Suck it up, admit my stupidity, and become the laughing stalk of my friends for years to come. Thanks everyone...
Hey, getting drunk and messing up happens. Get her number from her co-worker and just give her a call. I'd fess that you don't really remember enough of the evening, but would like to get to know her and ask her out. Just be sure not to drink too much on the first few dates. you don't want her thinking you're a drunk..
Hey ladies thanks for the advice. The only thing that I'm hesitant about asking her guy friend is that I'm assuming that he's trying to get with her, so if I ask him for her info he might not give it up. But I guess it doesn't hurt to try huh? At this point I just need some closure so I can move on.Thanks..
Your right - it can't hurt to ask her co-worker. At least you will know..
I'm sure he can provide you with her phone number. If not, I'm sure he can tell you where she works. I wouldnt discuss her with him too much if you feel that he may be interested in her as well...
