I was super duper hungry last night craving potatoes and found this recipe. It hit the spot! This weekend I'm going to experiment using a Medifast meal instead of parm..

Cauli Tots (Baked) 1-12 ounce bag frozen cauliflower1/3 cup grated Parmesan Cheesesalt, pepper, onion powder (to taste).

Cook cauliflower, covered, in microwave for 6 minutes. Pour off water and let stand until cool.

Squeeze as much water as you can then put in a magic bullet and blend..

Roll into approx. 1.5" balls and drop into Parmesan.

Form into tots by flattening the tops.

Place tots on a lightly greased cookie sheet and freeze at least 30 minutes (to help keep shape).

To bake: Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Bake for 10-15 minutes, rotating tots every five minutes or so for even browning...

I would love to try these... is there a way to do this if you do not have a bullet or any type of processor??..

A smoother texture helps everything stick together. Maybe a hand blender? Or just mushing it with your hands will work too!..

Even when I do the mashed cauli after I steam it. I take my potato masher and just beat the heck out of it. It mushes it right down as if you blended it...

1 tablespoon of parm is a condiment or you can subtract some from your lean if you have to...

Do you roll them in parm or just dust the top of them with Parm? I imagine just the tops because of how little Parm we can use for a condiment..Thanks for posting! My husband did low carb dieting for years and did the mashed cauliflower for his "mashed potatoes"...
