Problem committing to Nutrisystem?

This week is the 1st week since Feb. I steered off plan for more then one day. I'm still eating the right foods but my portion control is out of control.

Been craving baked fish! Found a buffet last Sunday and last night. Pigged out of baked fish and baked chicken..

I know the solution is stay out of buffets etc. I did for 4 months! Slipping a bit this week and I want to catch myself before it gets out of control.

Anyone else having this problem?.

Time for a long walk and re-commit! I'v lost to much to stop now...

Just jump back on the wagon and keep going. From what you said it looked like the choices weren't so bad.

I don't care for buffet's so that wouldn't be my choice of a place to pig out..

Mine would be mexican food with margarita's....chips and salsa. Now that's my weakness..

Buttt I refuse to give in to temptation and will remain faithful on the plan because I am on a mission to a better healthier body and lifestyle..

Your right, I'm going to do it and I'm going to keep it off!.

I just needed to vent a little. Kicking myself in the ass a bit. (If the President can say the "A" word I can too! LOL).

We all need a swift kick every once in awhile!..

Get back on plan, one slip up won't hurt. I was craving fish awhile back and found Gorton's Grilled Tilapia, 1 fillet 80 calories, 2.5 g fat and 14 g protein. Maybe you could use that as one of your proteins if you're craving fish..

Vent anytime you like, that's what we're all here for. To help each other and give out kicks when needed!!!.

Great progress on the weight loss, just keep going...

I agree about staying away from buffets....people have a tendency to overeat because they want to get 'their money's worth'....I'm sure if you were at a sit down restaurant, you would not have ordered two meals, right!??.

I second the motion on Gortons Fish Filets - I had FLEX meal last night with the salmon and a tiny baked red potato and carrots. Also some use the filets as a protein add-in at lunch.....

Buffets are evil places. They are not for Nutrisystem members at all. You can psyche yourself up and say you are only going to eat salad items and fruit, but when your eyes see all that's available - you're a goner. I am new to NS, but I already know that buffets are off limits for people who love food...

I blew off fishin. Weekend after weekend. Not just because I never catch anything, but what if I do? Can't really eat it...

I had an "off" day on Saturday...didn't stick to the program at all! Went to a Scottish Festival and had shepherd's pie with mashed potatoes, gravy, peas...and lots of kettle corn!.

And believe me...I could tell! Felt really awful the rest of the day.

But slips happen occasionally...none of us are perfect in everything. The trick is to not let a slip derail you completely!! When we've strayed it's easy to feel guilty and then those old mind-games sneak back in...and the next thing you know you're on that downhill slippery slope...you'll be fine, get back in the saddle and start KICKIN' IT big time!!!..

Thanks everyone for your response and support. These boards are one of the best things with Nutrisystem support!.

I'm jumped right back on the wagon. Swore off buffets (or no more then once a month!) Bought some frozen fish and going to keep it to one 4oz piece!..
