Medifast recipe for Pita chips - satisfy the crunchy munchies...?

Did the basic pita recipie and added some chili powder, cumin and Molly McCheese sprinkles. I, however, spread it very thinly on the baking sheet. Baked as usual (5 mins at 375), but once it's done, remove it from the pan and toast it a bit in the toaster to crisp it up. Break into pieces and use with your favorite dip!.

I used WF marinara, but you could do the WF bacon dip, FF bleu cheese, salsa or whatever..

Very satisfying way to get the crunch of chips, but substantial enough to stand up to dipping in a sauce..

Could probably use the similarly to nachos if you can get the flavor right (though the texture differs a bit). Plop on a pan, sprinkle on some FF cheese and bake to melt the cheese. Top with some salsa and FF sour cream!..

OrangeBlood - I just went through your "survival guide" and had to come express my gratitude!.

I also wanted to tell you what an inspiration you are to others. You have consistently lost weight and have been so outgoing with everyone. Your new pic in your blog is awesome!! You must be so proud of yourself. If you're married, your wife must be ecstatic with your determination and hard work. You're quite the **sexy hunk** now!!.

I just wanted to say thank you, as I've had a hard time staying on program, but with your "guide", I'm more committed than ever!..

The guide is a work in progress. I've found it helps me to stay focused if I have something to obsess about!.

As to me "consistently" losing Well, I've fallen off the wagon many times (as the red numbers in my signature atests to). Luckily, I've been able to hop back on the wagon and resume the weight loss..

One of the reasons I really want to make the guide is to let others know that going off program isn't the only way to satisfy the urges we all get. There are ways to get by and still stay on program..

Unfortunately, I suffer from a peanut butter desire that 1 tblspn just does not satisfy. I think Medifast should invest ALL of their efforts in developing Medifast peanut butter so we (more specifically, I) can have a real peanut butter meal!..
