Your question was: Only lost 2 lbs in 3 weeks with Nutrisystem?.
Thanks Geebus..., this makes perfect sense..
I guess I'm impatient and need to factor in what you've said here. Thanks again!..
I think 2lbs in 3 weeks is great success! How long did it take you to put on those extra pounds? I have a lot to loose and my loss has been about 1lb per week. As long as it stays going in the right direction, you are doing great!..
I lost at a rate of 3 pounds per month. Keep in mind that the only way to keep off the 10 pounds once you've lost it is to continue following the general eating plan (albeit with a few more servings per day). So it's really in your long-term best interest to stay on the plan a while to learn it well.
After about 2-3 months, I started flexing some meals. That's also good practice for sticking to the plan long-term. (And you can delay your Auto-Delivery as needed without losing your discounts or promotions.).
Been pretty slow for me too. I started May 5th have lost 5 lbs (so an average of a pound a week) but have been at the same weight for 2 weeks now and it frustrates me I knew going in that it would be slow because I only have a little to lose and I've been diet/exercise conscious for a few years now..
I kind of went eating crazy around Thanksgiving of last year and was having a hard time getting back to healthy eating which is why I joined NS.
So here I am slowly but surely getting back to where I was before. I try to stay positive like everyone else though, as long as the numbers keep dropping..
Thanks for all the responses. I'm determined to stick with this. I was spending very close to the same amount when I wasn't on Nutrisystem so, for me it's a WIN - WIN..
I need to find out more about how to delay your order. Anyone know something about how that works?.
Go to "My Account" and enter info; click on manage auto delivery. To the left there is a link to "delay order."..
Its good to know I'm not the only one! I've been on the diet now for 3 weeks (startng my fourth today) and haven't lost a pound. I'm exercising 5 days a week with light weights and also walking on the treadmill, but it is getting increaingly more frustrating when I hop on the scale and...nothing!..
I was talking with someone who has a small amount to lose and she was overwhelmed with how much you eat. As we chatted, it seemed to come down to how many veggies and how frequently you need to eat. But we agreed that these 2 things are critical, because the frequency jumps your metabolism up a notch and the veggies are so low in calorie - it just about takes more energy to metabolize them. Stay 100% - eat all the servings and space them out every 2 hours...
Yes it is typical. I think the major weight loss that happens in the beginning. just hang in there and be patient. I wish you the best of luck!..
Thanks everyone for the responses. This community support really makes a difference and convinces me, I simply need to be patient.
I have found that I can eat everything I'm 'suppose to', but spacing it out helps keep my hunger under control. I have heard that it also revs up your metabolism. Now if anyone has any suggestions for my cellulite, I'll be really happy...
