Any suggestions? I tried the shake cookies and I might need to add a capital D for Disappointment. Nothing at all like a cookie. More like a waxy piece of nothing. Needless to say I wasted 5 packs on that recipe and I will not be trying that particular recipe again........ So help please I just started yesterday and I am getting a little disspointed. Without the recipes it seems that most are not swallowable...

Hi,.

Try these, I love them and make them all the time:.

The Revised Cowgirl Starter Muffin Recipe.

4 packets oatmeal.

2 packets scrambled eggs.

Splenda if you wish (I don't use any....I think the oatmeal and syrup are sweet enough).

1 Tbs poppy seeds (or not).

6 tbs flaxseed meal (or not).

2 tsp baking powder.

2 tsp extract.

1/2 cup sugar free syrup (Torani or DaVInci or other).

Preheat oven to 350. Spray 12-cup muffin tin with cooking spray..

Mix dry ingredients together in one bowl. Mix eggs with 8 oz of very warm water. Whip with a mixer until fluffy. Add the syrup and extract and continue to mix for about 2 minutes. Add to the dry ingredients. You can add more water if they are too thick.

Bake for 35-40 minutes. They have a little lighter texture than the original. Makes 6 Medifast meals - 2 muffins each..

When I made them, I used all blueberry oatmeal and lemon extract. Love those.

Try different flavors of extracts and oatmeal. You can also add spices like cinnamon and pumpkin pie spice...

These are the muffin recipes that I've made the most often. I've copied them from other posts and regret that I don't recall the authors of all of them..

Oatmeal Muffins.

In a bowl:.

1 pkg Oatmeal mix.

1/4 tea baking SODA (Box).

1/8 tea baking POWDER (Can).

Splenda to taste.

Spices to taste (Dry only).

In a 1 cup measure:.

1/3 cup water.

1 tea white vinegar.

1 tea vanilla (or to taste, or other liquid flavor).

Have a mini bread pan sprayed and ready to go. The oven should be preheated to 350..

You MUST have everything ready to go before you mix the wet and dry as the chemical reaction takes place quickly and we want to trap as many bubbles as possible..

Mix the dry ingredients well, and then mix the wet ones. Pour the wet into the dry and mix up to a smooth batter as quickly as possible. Pour into pan. Bake for 15-16 minutes..

Turn out of pan immediately..

Suesully's Maple version of BT's newest Pumpkin Spice Muffins version:.

1-apple cinnamon oatmeal.

1-chai latte.

1/2 tsp baking powder.

1 TBS Brown Sugar Splenda.

1/4 tsp Pumpkin Pie spice.

1/4 tsp. cinnamon.

Mix dry ingredients..

Add the following:.

1/4 tsp vanilla extract.

1 tsp MAPLE extract.

1/4-1/2 cup water (start with 1/4 c and add a touch at a time for a not too runny consistency).

1 tbsp SF Davinci GINGERBREAD Syrup.

Mix well and pour into 6 muffin tins..

Bake at 350 for 20-25 min..

I bake for the whole 25 min as I like my outer crust a little crunchy..

Pumpkin Spice Muffins! My newest version:.

1-apple cinnamon oatmeal.

1-chai latte.

1/2 tsp baking powder.

2 packets Splenda.

1/2 tsp Pumkin Pie spice.

1/2 tsp. cinnamon.

Mix dry ingredients..

Add the following:.

1/2 tsp vanilla extract.

1/2 tsp coconut extract.

1/4-1/2 cup water (start with 1/4 c and add a touch at a time for a not too runny consistency).

1 tbsp SF Davinci Caramel Syrup.

Mix well and pour into 6 muffin tins (2 Medifast meals).

Bake at 350 for 20-25 min..

Pumpkin Spice Muffins! Yum!.

Even though I love the Chai Latte as a drink I am a Medifast muffin fan and am always looking for more muffin and cookie recipes..

Well, I'd read somewhere a suggestion to make pumpkin bars with the Chai Latte and I thought about making some Pumpkin muffins instead..

Made them and love them! In fact, they're one of my new favorites!.

Definately a recipe for this fall and winter!.

1-apple cinnamon oatmeal.

1-Chai Latte.

1/2 tsp baking powder.

2 tsp Splenda.

1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice.

Mix the dry ingredients and then add.

1/2 tsp vanilla extract.

1/2 tsp almond extract.

1/2 cup water.

Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes and cool..

Makes 6 muffins (3 muffins for a Medifast meal).

Best of success on your Medifast journey...

Can we use regular vanilla or do I need to go find some sf type???..

Vanilla extract doesn't have sugar in it. Some of us just use it although it does have alcohol in it (which has carbs) and some people use it and keep track of it. I don't remember if it's on the condiment list in Medifast but you might check there..

Crystol, I know what you mean! I have tried a few of the muffin and cookie recipes and NONE of them have turned out close to expected. Most of them taste like...well, I'm a lady and won't continue. But I actually like the taste of the oatmeal as oatmeal-as anything else it's just gross. I haven't tried the chips from cream of broccoli yet but I'm not all that anxious to do so..

Good luck with your cooking. Let me know if you can get yours to come out palatable...

I'm happy to see the recipe for muffins with the Chai Latte, I hated it! Cathy, have you tried that recipe with adding a pkg. of scrambled eggs?..

Doesn't the alcohol cook off during baking? I always thought it did...
