The first couple of days are the hardest. You will be very hungry, tired and may get a headache. You just need to remember that it will go away. In a few days you will feel great. Don't over due it with any exercise. Just take it one day at a time. Congratulations on your first day...

Welcome and congratulations for starting MF.

Be sure to eat every 2 to 3 hours to keep your metabolism burning and keep you from getting hungry. Drink at least 64 oz. of water daily. Read and re-read your Quick Start guide and follow plan as written. Journaling is very beneficial. Make a list of all the reasons why you want/need to lose weight and read it often especially if you are tempting to eat off plan.

Remember this is a lifestyle change, not just another diet.

You can do this and we can do it together. There are so many wonderful supportive and inpsirational people here and we are all here for you. Good luck. You can do this and always remember: YOU ARE WORTH IT!!! Mary..

Congratulations on Day 1! I am on day 8!.

I totally agree with Juddybugger. The first couple of days are hard. My advice is to just follow the program. Eat every couple of hours and drink your water! Just remember every day does get easier!..

Today is my first day! Just a little difficult, but I will get thru it. Wondering if anyone has any insight on the whole shakes 5xs a day for 3 days?..

Congratulations on all of your "first days"! You can do it! Everyone above it correct. Stick with it, don't give up, you'll do great!!!..

I did nothing but shakes for 7 days straight and lost 8.8 lbs. Totally doable!..

The meals are inter changeable. remember to drink your rwater..

If you are going to do shakes- definitely get one of those bullet blenders or something equal. It makes all the difference in the world. I got a cheap one from Big Lots and it works great...

Do you mean shakes only and no L & G? I would do 5 shakes, and 1 of some other MF. You still need to be over 800 calories/day.

The old plan was written as 6 MF's/day but now it is NOT recommended...
