I thought I would share with everyone my very favorite recipe in the world..

Mustard Salmon.

Each and every time my best friend and I use to go camping he would cook this for me. He is now married and I was his "Best Man" at his wedding (I am a woman ).

You can cook this over an open fire or right in your own oven..

Items Needed:.

1. 8 oz salmon fillet...or you can use your favorite fish.

2. Yellow Mustard...if you want to you can use ANY type of mustard...but in my opinion yellow mustard tastes best.

3. 0 calorie butter spray...I Can't Believe It's Not Butter...of course my pre Medifast days I used real butter.

4. Salt and can also use lemon pepper or garlic salt.

5. 1 Lemon...or lemon juice.

6. Aluminum Foil.

1. Heat oven to 350.

2. Take a piece of aluminum foil and spray it with the 0 calorie butter.

3. Put salmon on foil and spray to taste with butter.

4. Spread about 2 teaspoons of yellow mustard on top the the salmon.

5. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.

5. Lay one or two lemon wedges on the salmon...or use lemon juice.

6. Wrap it up and put in the oven for approx 30 to 40 minutes and ENJOY.

Trust me this tastes so much better than it sounds!.

I hope whomever tries this enjoys it!!!..

My kids have been begging for salmon, and I don't care for the taste, maybe I will like it this way. I'll have to make it for them, I'm sure they will love it! Ihope I like it this way, I need more fish in my diet...

Thanks for posting this! I found this thread looking for ideas on making salmon...I just had this for dinner and it was excellent. I used Grey Poupon (my fav mustard) and couldn't have been happier. Plus no clean up! Just throw away foil. Can't beat that...

Now if I can just get the kids to throw this in the oven before I get home.............

Thanks for the recipe ..I can't make my favorite salmon dish because it's got a buncha maple syrup in the marinade. I love mustard and this is so easy to do (and easy to clean up)...

That sounds great and I'll try it next time I have salmon. My current favorite way to make Salmon is to bake it sprinkled with rosemary and dill..

I have been using a sprinkle of lemon dill seasoning on lots of Medifast foods - and it's great on fish, too...

Starbuck - maybe you could try sugar-free maple syrup in your salmon recipe and <lol> if it works please share the recipe. I love salmon too and am looking forward to trying the Mustard Salmon...

This sounds like a great recipe. I'll give it a try. I love all kinds of mustards so this should be great! And it's definitely healthier then the butter-poached salmon that I used to make pre-MF!..

I have to admit that crossed my mind but I suspect it wouldn't quite cut it. heh..

And then I said to myself well, how much of the maple syrup would it actually absorb if I use the real thing. Surely not very much I answered myself..

Then I said to myself Self, shut up with the maple syrup talk, you little gooberhead. Just eat your pudding and drink a gallon of water...

Salmon is one of my favorites. I just found a oriental salad dressing (Wish Bone Lite Asian and Sesame with Ginger) that I put on top with a little salt/pepper and broil. It is easy and good..

Height 5-1.

Start weight 252.6.
