I am all about repurposing old objects... and one of those is your ice cream maker! Well, the beauty of this one is that you actually get to MAKE Medifast ice cream I have one with a freezable container, turn it on, pour it in, and leave it for a while! You get a nice frozen treat... try this....

Mix 1 pudding mix with 1 shake mix and 1.5 cups cold water. Place in your ice cream maker as directed by the manufacturer and make two yummy PURE Medifast meals!.

I took 2 chocolate puddings and 2 swiss mocha (YES, SWISS MOCHA! You wont hate it after this recipe)... mixed with 3 cups of water in thee blender and placed into my prepared ice cream maker... Divide into 4 containers when it is done and freeze or eat one immediately..

I made a two serving batch of chocolate and it was amazing!! Tasted like a dark chocolate sorbet. Here are some other combinations....

Pure Vanilla: Vanilla shake and Vanilla pudding..

Orange Drea: Orange Shake and Vanilla pudding.

Chocolate covered bananas: Chocolate Shake and Banana Pudding.

Strawberries & Cream: Strawberry shake and Vanilla Pudding.

Chocolate dipped strawberries: Strawberry shake and Chocolate pudding.

Orange Julius: Orange shake and banana pudding.

Chocolate Oranges: Orange shake and Chocolate pudding.

Strawberry Banana Yum: Strawberry shake and Banana pudding..

Wow, you really are Sooper!!! We always keep our ice cream maker bowls in the freezer so that they are ready whenever we feel the need to make some ice cream. Perhaps I'll snag one of them and try this...

Drat... it's definitely too late to get "ice cream maker" on my Christmas list....

But I know Santa's putting a sandwich maker under the tree.

Hmmm... I wonder what it's going to take to convince someone that I really really need an ice cream maker in January...

When I made this last time, I followed the directions and the portion I had right away tasted really yummy! The other portion however, not so much. I put it in the freezer and when I took it out the next day, it was ROCK HARD and looked almost freezer-burned. Did I use too much water? I am going to try it again tonight (banana pudding with dutch chocolate shake...yum!), but I want to make sure tomorrow night's dessert tastes just as good as tonight's...

Hi Sweetie, I would suggest microwaving the 2nd portion. Our second portion were good, also rock hard. Hubby liked his hard and scrapped with his spoon, I liked mine thawed.

Thanks for sharing about using your ice cream maker. I have a small one that you freeze the inner core and don't need any rock salt or anything. Can't wait to try it...

Search the forum, lots of recipes..

I blend pudding mine with 4 oz water, 8 ice cubes and freeze..

Or blend with 4 oz water, 8 ice cubes, 1 oz low fat cream cheese and freeze (creamier)..

Or blend with 4 oz water, no ice, freezealso creamier but less volume..

ONLY way I eat pudding actually...
