Sure sweet: Just make sure the shrimp is grilled and is not coated with any kind of glaze. Glaze equals sugar which of course, equals carbs. Applebees is famous for adding sweet glazes to everything, but just ask them to grill it after basting with a very small amount of olive oil only. Then you can flavor it with salt and pepper and you are good to go...
I would be careful with places like Applebees. Most of them don't have a scratch kitchen. A LOT of their food is prepackaged, and they can not make changes for you...
I get the baked chicken and extra steamed veggies. They always make allowances for me. It's on the 550 or less section..
My BF and I go to Applebees (the B we call it) all of the time. Depending on my taste buds....I'll have either the 7 oz Sirloin steak (menu uses weight before cooking) and steamed brocolli......or.....I'll order the chicken Caesar Salad without dressing and crotons with an extra chicken breast. I take along my own WF dressing (love the Italian sun-dried tomato and the Chipotle Ranch). Enjoy your dinner!!..
Try the weight watchers garlic chicken breast with veggies and a side salad. Just ask them to sub more veggies for the potatoe side. Good luck! You can do it!..
Thanks for all of the wonderful suggestions... I actually had a tossed salad and grilled chicken breast with fat free itl. dressing. I had plans to take my own Paul Newmans lighten up but walked right out the door without it. I did ask what was in the house salad and had them hold the cheese, bacon and croutons. Server looked at me like I had asked for something strange.LOL When it got to the table I thought,"that's not very much" but was pleasantly satisfied when I was finished and still had my strawberry shake left for later.
Day 4 weight-down 5.4 pounds. I am amazed!..
