Ok, so those of you who know me know I use a walker and wheelchair and I can't stand too long. I am working on this. I got bored with the same old same old..

I had ordered those Galeos Salad Dressings. I made Coleslaw the other day but didn't with waldens farms coleslaw dressing. I had a lot of the head left over.

So I took some balsalmic Vinegar and garlic in a saute pan warmed it and added the Galeos Wasabi dressing to it. Then throw in some roughly cut cabbage. I saute maybe 5 minutes or so. Didn't take long. It was yummy.

Then for my lean I had some turkey bacon I broke up into it. My new favorite dish...

Willow Wind...I didn't know about your situation. Don't mean to pry if you don't want to say why you are in the walker and wheelchair. But glad you are getting better. I just bought pre-shredded red cabbage and was going to make it the way you did. Didn't think about the Galeos and the turkey bacon. Sounds great and I will try it.

I've made cole slaw with Galeos and LOVE it, but never thought about this combo. Yummy!!! And I love balsamic vinegar. Thanks for sharing this recipe!..

I love satued (sp) cabbage. my Galoe's dressings are due and the 19th and can't wait to try this recipe. I also have problems standing and use a w/c, especially in the kitchen.

Yes. got your message. I have all about me on my blog. My story is an open book. I never have trouble talking about myself =p.

Believe me I am not a master cheif by anymeans. I am sure Orangeblood could even come up with other variations of this. hehe..

I don't buy the pre cut salads or cabbage anymore since the ecoli outbreak. My security with those flew out the window. I am not a spinach fan but I imagine that could be substituded for the cabbage as well.

I only use the balsamic vinager cause I am a huge vineager fan...

I made this tonight too. I used shredded red cabbage, sauteed in some pam butter flavor spray, and then added some Galeos Sesame dressing. It was great. Thanks for the idea Willow Wind...

Mmm. I'm not a fan of cooked cabbage, but this does sound good! I'll have to try it. My wife likes cooked cabbage, so she'd appreciate it, too! Thanks!.

And keep experimenting! I find that trying different things keeps the boredom away even when things fail. Just getting the creative juices going makes things more interesting even if it's a flop...
