I was just on QVC's web site looking at blenders. They had these really cute little personal blender things called the Tornado. It is $22+$5.22 s/h. Basically it was a glass with a little battery operated blender in the bottom. It has a push button on the base of the glass. It comes in a set of 4 and they all came in diffent colors. Does anyone have these?.

Yes-I actually do have these, and I was not impressed with them. I just posted about a "cooks blender with attachments" that is at JC Penney for 19.99. It is a knock off of the magic bullet. You would probably like that better. I have a magic bullet and I LOVE it!!!!! I ordered the one from JC Penneys to have for work. Good luck to u!!.

Boatdeck, I bought a little mini-blender at Target almost a year ago. Made by "Back To Basics" and I think it cost me $14. It is wonderful. A couple of weeks ago I noticed the little rubber ring around the blade component was starting to look a little worn (I use my blender at least twice a day for shakes) so I called Back to Basics and they sent me the whole blade component with several spare rings NO CHARGE. Their product is good and their service is good what a concept! And very easy to use put your ingreds into the cup, screw the blade part on, fit it on the base and blend away. Then you take the blade off and drink out of the cup.

Easy to clean - it all goes in the dishwasher, but I would remove the rubber ring first. Hopefully Target still has these things, cuz I highly recommend it...

Thanks! I just noticed in our Target circular that they have the Magic Bullet for $49.99. Penny's was on sale for $59.99 in todays ad...

I bought a Magic Bullet after reading about it here (got it at BJ's for 54.99). Not quite sure what to use it for now! I tried mixing the hot cocoa in it, and I guess I did it for too long because I wound up with an undrinkable glass of foam! I also read a caution on here not to use it for the pudding...so what DO you use it for? Is it just the shakes or have you found other uses for it? (My husband used it last night for a milkshake...works great for that!!).

The Cooks blender with attachments is the one from JCPenney's (the Magic Bullet knock-off, of sorts). It's $19.99, down from $29.99 2 weeks ago and they have listed that their "normal" price is $59.99. I love it, highly recommend it. I use it for shakes and hot drinks - but yeah, the foam can be a problem if you let it mix for too long - but I love the creaminess...
