(Do a google search, por favor).

They offer this packaged at my local "sugarless delite" store and I have been curious to try it b/c the texture would probably be better than Shiratake noodles and Spaghetti is my comfort food. Do a homemade marinara recipe. (or just break down and get Suzanne Somers marinara sauce, soo good but $$$).

OOH then I could make some faux garlic bread w/ ICBINB and the cauliflower crust recipe. MMmmm I think that's about as close to it as I can get. *droolz*.

Thoughts? Mods? Suggestions?..

Hi there,.

I live so close to Sugarless De Lites and can't wait to go back when I can add grains in traniition. Otherwise I think It is all no OP right now!.

If you ever want to meet up there, give me a ping!..

I didn't see anything OP at that website. Better stick to the shiratake until you're off 5&1. I'm just not seeing how 14g carbs will fit into the 5&1. Remember that we log TOTAL carbs not NET carbs...

DANG IT! De, you caught me, I was totally hoping to be able to just count Net Carbs..

Busted. I will wait until maintenance phase. Thanks for the reminder.

Hmm...what's more comforting, spaghetti or size 8?! um DUH..

Hehe. Just think how smokin' hot you'll be for your trip in June, if you just hold off on the comfort foods for a while longer! Definitely a great option for t&m and something I may look into myself. Have you tried spaghetti squash instead of the noodles? I'm not a squash eater, but I understand from others that it's a pretty acceptable alternative to pasta...

I love squash and have tried spaghetti squash, just use some ICBINB spray, salt and better and yum yum!..

I love spaghetti squash..

In Maintenance, I also love soy pasta (which is what this basically is). High protein, low carb. Good stuff...

I can't do the spaghetti squash - the texture just doesn't work for me. Is the soy pasta similar texture or firmer?..

It's a little like whole wheat pasta, really - a bit more "rubbery" or grainy than white pasta but still definitely pasta and not a substitute..

I get whole soybean pasta at Whole Foods...

Going to have to try that. Thanks for the info Vie...
