It is only my third day but I can feel it already - this sense of alertness and energy! This is one of the biggest motivators for staying on this diet because I am tired of going to bed at 8 pm and sleep 11 hours only to feel tired all over again. Last night I had energy to clean up the kitchen after making my meal! I went to bed at 9 pm and got up at 3 AM - I think the lack of carbs is getting to me. Carbs always make me tired. Yet I feel great right now!.

I never know why I always torture myself with heavy meals, knowing that it will only put me to sleep or self loathing. Why do I punish myself? That is a question I intend to tackle on this journey - it seems easier to be miserable than happy for me.

For that very reason, I intend to stay on Medifast as long as I can! I need to feel this energized to tackle my duties as a single mother, a busy professional and ME!..

Awesome! Some people get alert faster than other, I was pretty lethargic for about the first 3-4 weeks myself! But I think I was over-doing it in other areas. Your body is reacting really well to the plan! That's great!..

I'm not full of energy, but I know this stuff works. I am on day 3 of my recommit. I lost around 50 pounds the first time around. I haven't gained any of it back, i'm just back to finish what I started. I noticed that sometimes when I'm doing nothing at all I am sweating like crazy!! I know that It's my body burning away the icky fat!!!!.

My head only hurt for a day this time, and I'm staying on plan. It's harder to start the second time around, but I'm committed...

My worday starts at 5:30am and doesn't end til I walk through the door at night at 7:30pm. only to come home and work out 5x-6x a week. I have more energy being op with Medifast than I ever did and literally jump out of bed in the morning.

It's quite amazing..

I thought I was the only one that felt a difference after 3 days.... On my 3rd day, I would swear my clothes felt loose... Whooo hooo!!!.

WELCOME! I jsut started yesterday and I felt AWESOME when I woke up this morning. I was amazed at how great I felt. Typically, when I wake up, my eyes hurt and I feel like I have had no sleep, even if I have slept for 7-8 hours. I cannot believe how great I felt on day 2. I have been a little slow and tired today, but boy could I feel a difference this morning. I know that it will just get better and better.

I agree with everyone, my energy has increased so much. And I can feel the little differences in my body already too. It's amazing...

I've not been 100% op yet (just got my food today, but "borrowed" some shakes for all last week) but wow- the energy is an issue here...I'm not much of a sleeper as it is... now I'm up till 2 am! yikes! I'm hoping this is going to even out again.. and let me sleep a bit more!!!..
