So what is on everyones menus for their L&G meals for the week? I started this program on Tuesday and have only had egg beaters with my veggie or scallops with my veggie for my meals. That means 6 meals of either of those 2, ugh! I NEED HELP with some tasty L&G meal ideas please!!!..

I made some extra lean turkey meatloaf with some leftover items used for my Medifast Superbowl party. I had salsa stuffed mushroom caps with a sprinkling of cheese - so I had extra baby portabellos left. I also put some celery used for my snack today and in my salad. That plus some Mrs. Dash. Made a great meatloaf (Mon dinner).

The meatloaf have one serving of green in them..

I picked up a roasted chicken at the store - frozen it into 6oz pkg. Tues dinner with a big spinach salad..

Wed is leftover buffalo chicken from superbowl - mixed with salad, cucumbers and celery. Buffalo chicken was a recipe my coach sent to us. Chix, buffalo hot sauce, marinate overnight and bake for 20-25 min. Was great with a salad..

Thu That Tuna salad wrap sounded good - I might add a little mustard and pickle vs. dressing.

Those stuffed portabellos were great from my superbowl app - my wife (also on MF) asked me to find a way to make a dinner version of them with the big caps. I might make something with Boca crumbles and Ro-tel tomatos (or a more sodium reduced version or make some myself in the bullet blender).

Last night was 2 mozzarella and garlic chicken sausages from Sam's Club (120 calories, 5 grams fat, 2 carbs and 17 grams protein each), grilled, then chopped up and baked with a fire roasted tomatoes (1 veggie serving) and a sprinkling of low-fat cheese (2 condiments worth). I had that with a small salad (my other 2 veggies) dressed with Walden Farms blue cheese dressing. Absolutely delicious!.

Tonight will be either left-over roasted chicken and salad, or a roasted turkey tenderloin with broccoli and bell peppers. I also keep a bag of sirloin burgers, chicken breasts and a box of Kansas City sirloin steaks in my freezer at all times for those days when I just don't know what I want to have...

Ahh, I misunderstood your intent, sorry!.

On the menu for this week:.

Monday: Mock taco salad (using ground turkey).

Tuesday: Steak, faux mash and string beans.

Wednesday: Mock Shrimp Alfredo.

Thursday: Grilled chicken breast and mixed veg.

Friday: Home made soup out of left overs (measuring meat and veg into bouillon).

Haven't worked out the weekend yet...

Yesterday I had a burger on a COT soup-bread bun w/lettuce, tomatoes, mustard, pickles...and a side of roasted cauliflower. YUM Only thing is I was too full to eat my last Medifast meal (bad girl, I know).

Monday-Stir "Fried" Veggies and Grilled Tilapia.

Tuesday-Grilled Chicken and Salad.

Wednesday-Grilled Steak, Turnip Fries, Steamed Broccoli.

Thursday-Grilled Chicken and Veggie Kabobs.

Friday-Shrimp and Zucchini Ribbons.

Saturday-Fajita Chicken Salad.

Sunday-Beef Roast w/ Veggies..

Monday-Pulled Pork with Cauliflower potatoe pancake "copied from someon'es blog" and coleslaw..

Tuesday-spinach chicken sausage with green peppers and mushrooms..

Well, I'm a vegetarian, so I'm not sure if my meal plan will help, but here's what's likely and in my fridge for this week:.

-Portabello mushroom "pizza" with low-carb tomato sauce, low fat cheese, and MSF veggie crumbles.

-Creamy Broccoli soup (made with broccoli and broth and seasonings and blended), veggie burger topped with sliced tomato, mustard, and low-fat cheese.

-Grilled Seitan (like beef) with sauteed mushrooms and zucchini.

-Quorn cutlet (like a chicken breast) with "creamy" spinach saucemade with soft tofu and LC Light Cheeseand turnip "chips".

-Chili made with MSF Crumbles, tomatoes, red peppers, and zucchini. Served with one veggie hot dog and a bit of low-fat cheese on top. (I break up my lean over the crumbles, the cheese, and the hot dog.) I have this with a side salad. It's a big OP meal!..

Welcome to MF! I usually eat Tilapia. I have frozen Turkey Chili for tomorrow night. I also love Ground Turkey in Lettuce Wraps. Egg Beaters. Shrimp. Veggies I usually eat Salad or Mashed Cauliflower!.

Hi, I just joined medifast couple of weeks ago, i'm mostly into vegetarian food, can stand chicken sometimes but not often. I was going thru the FAQs in the medifast website and it says that we can substitute the green meal with shirataki noodles. I've been looking for these noodles online and few people gave a negative feedback saying that they smell awful and fishy !!! So my question is, have any of you guys out there tried these noodles??? I really want to know more about it before I order them, I want to try out a sample pack but ordering online is expensive, could'nt even find them in any of my local food markets ...........

I eat them occasionally. They almost no nutritional value, so you cannot use them as one of your vegetables very often. They do have a fishy smell straight out of the bag, but if you rinse them very well under hot water (5 minutes at least), it goes away.

I find them in my local grocery stores; they are in the refrigerated section with the tofu and soy products...

I'm also a vegetarian. Last night I had a veggie burger (no bun) with half an ounce of low fat cheese, a cup of a side salad, and a cup of roasted veggies. Tonight I will have a grilled vegetarian sausage with roasted green beans and eggplant...

I love those noodles. The smell doesn't really bother me at all. I rinse them and the cook then in a pan with a little bit of oil and garlic. I make a version of white clam sauce with them, so it probably helps with the initial aroma..

I ordered them online in the past... quite a while ago. But since then a new grocer has opened up in town and they carry them. I wish I could remember the site that I ordered from because it was not expensive, but that was a few years ago...

I love Shiritaki noodles! Yes, rinse them and pat them dry with a paper towel. They can be found in little water-packed pouches, usually in the refigerated tofu area. They are great for using in stir fry with some cabbage, chicken and mushrooms...
