My first question is: I need to see what a Match.com profile looks like...?.

My next question is: Hi Ladies - need some advice.  I meet this new guy and we went out on our 1st date using Match.com this past weekend.  We had a good time and the date using Match.com ended good - hug goodbye.  It was a bit late when I departed the date, so he asked that I call him when I got home to let him know I got home ok.  I did and we talked a bit more - both expressed that we were nervous and indicated that we had a good time and that we wanted to do it again. .

Since then, we have talked quite frequently - mostly playing 20 questions.  I'm a bit confused as to why the topic of a 2nd date using Match.com has yet to come up, but I'm trying to be patient.  I would think that if he was really interested in getting together again he would ask or is he just waiting for me to ask?.

Help - is he just interested in being a friend or should I take the initiative?..

I would not take the initiative, because that way you won't know whether he's really interested or just saying yes to be polite..

I would probably be a smart aleck and say something like, "so when are you asking me out again?" with a bit of a playful tone.  If he said something like, "Im busy right now" or "I'll call you back"...then I would figure that he doesnt want to go out again.  But at least I'd know instead of wondering...

At this point it's ok to take the initiative, suggest something casual.

Hey there,.

 .

I would defo take initiative hun!  It's the only way you will know for sure.  If he's interested then that's fine, if he's not then you move on and not waste anymore time.  Good Luck x..

Yes, casual, light-hearted, is the way to go..

Don't ask him.  Start him off the right way.  If he hasn't asked you out yet, it's probably because of the dreaded "Valentines day date" that he is just not really for.  Don't be available every time he calls.  Keep conversations short.  He may be getting his "quota" of time with you over the phone.  Force it into an actual date using Match.com by not having a phone relationship.  he will figure out real quick that he needs to make plans with you if he wants any of your time...
