Your question was: How to get rid of Cellulite during Nutrisystem?.
I hear skin brushing is suppose to be very good. Just get a natural bristle brush from any drug store or Target/Walmart type store, and brush your skin in long strokes up towards your heart. Start at your feet and work your way up, and always brush towards the heart.
The act of skin brushing is suppose to help your circulation, that's why brushing towards the heart is essential. And it stimulates the lymp system, which is what will help flush out the fat deposits which cause the cottage cheese look. As you're losing weight, skin brush before you shower. Exercise to build up muscle. You can't really spot reduce fat, but what you can do is work your muscles and get the blood flowing in that area, which in turn will help move cellulite out over time.
I don't really know if there's a cure besides repeated spa treatments, like wraps, massages, and mesotherapy treatments and such, as far as a quick fix, but this is sure to help. I've read so many good things about skin brushing. Just make sure you buy a natural bristle brush. The acrylic kind will be very hard and will hurt! The natural bristles will be firm but soft...
I found this on a search.
People who eat too much fat, carbohydrates, or salt and too little fiber are likely to have greater amounts of cellulite.
Here is a good article..
Take a look at the other women in your family, that's a good indication of whether you will get rid of it or not. I've always heard that spot reducing doesn't work. Do cardio and strength training to tone your muscles..
The article states there is NO cure for cellulite...
Hi, I was reading the responses and will suggest what Vermont suggested with a few additions. Follow her directions, and shower. Go thru a rinsing of hot water, cold water and repeat 2 times while finishing up the shower.
Afterwards you dry off gently , rub oil all over your body. I use Almond Oil [a spa oil that I bought on Ebay]. If it does nothing else it makes you feel great.
I haven't been doing it long enough [1.5 weeks]to report any fantasic results as to the cellulite, but can report that it relieves stress. The directions I follow suggest doing the dry skin brushing before the morning shower..
Hope this helps...
While I don't think there's a cellulite CURE, there are things that can greatly reduce it. Anyone who tells you that you can't reduce it is just wrong, I have almost had all of mine go away (almost I said, not completely).
You have to lose the weight to see most of it..
But, for exercise, the key is intervals. In other words, moderate exercise with extra boosts put in. So, if you walk then walk but do a minute of a hill or a minute of jogging. If you run, do say 8 mins of moderate pace and then 1-2 minutes of sprints. and repeat. Intervals are huge and if you either google or search the boards you will find more research on intervals..
