How to do liver cleansing
In reference to the body the liver is the organ that produces bile. Bile is the digestive fluid which is yellowish in color that after it is produced by the liver is stored in the gallbladder then it gets passed through the small intestine where it emulsifies fats. Sometimes during this process calluses appear on the gallbladder. These calluses are more commonly known as gallstones.
The gallstones collect parasites and bacteria and prevent the liver from doing its job as they grow. Eventually the gallstones will affect cholesterol levels, people have digestive problems and the stones become very painful. If ignored they will have to be surgically removed. However most of the time a periodical liver cleaning can prevent surgery altogether. Most experts recommend only doing cleansing twice a year. Here are two recipes for doing a cleansing.
There are certain steps to take before doing a cleansing. These steps will help prepare the body dump the stones from the gallbladder:
1. Make sure your body is free of parasites.
3. Do one or two days of a fresh juice diet. Try apple or carrot.
4. Make sure you go to the dentist to make sure there are no bacteria in your mouth.
5. Do colon irrigation. If that is not available an enema is fine.
Here is what you need to have:
· One pint of cold virgin olive oil
· One half pint of fresh lemon juice
· Peppermint oil (optional)
· Pineapple or V8 juice
· Tablespoon measurer
· Water in a pitcher
· A paint stirring stick
· A net to put under the toilet seat to catch the stones
Make sure you do not have anything to do the day of the cleansing and also the day after.
12 pm: Do NOT eat any more solid food
6:30 pm: Do NOT drink any more liquid
7:00 pm: Drink 4 tablespoons of olive oil and 1 or 2 tablespoons of lemon juice.
You should lie down and RELAX. It might help if someone can bring the oil and juice to you or you have it close by so you do not have to keep getting up and down.
Repeat this process every 15 minutes until all the olive oil is gone. If there is any lemon juice left drink that too.
TIP: If you feel queasy drink a little pineapple or V8 juice or put some peppermint oil in the olive oil.
Go to bed immediately. Experts recommend sleeping on the right side because this will speed up the process for the oil to work as a lubricant in the gallbladder. You will feel the need to go to the bathroom at some point. Use the pitcher of water and the paint stirrer to separate the stones from the fecal matter. Do not be discouraged if there are no stones in the first bowel movement. Save the stones if you want otherwise, throw them away. After the treatment it is recommended that vitamin c, methionince, choline, inositol and lecithin are added as daily supplements.
This cleansing requires more time and the results may not be immediate however it is milder.
Here is what you need to have:
· 5 ounces of Classic Coke
· 6 oz. of Extra Virgin Olive Oil
· 2 tablespoons of freshly squeezed lemon juice
· 10 oz. Citrate of Magnesium (available at pharmacy)
· Freshly pressed apple juice
Before going to bed drink Coke, olive oil and lemon juice.
In the morning, drink 10 oz. of Citrate of Magnesium.
For the next month drink 4 oz. of freshly pressed apple juice first thing in the morning and 4 oz. of freshly pressed apple juice last thing at night. Drinking the juice will help ward off the effects of nausea and/or headache from the cleansing.
Watch the toilet and all bowel movements. Over the next couple hours and days the fecal mater should have stones that are being dumped by the gallbladder. It may be a few hundred so do not be alarmed if there are a lot in the toilet bowl.
These two methods will insure a healthy, clean liver.
