I have been trying to lose this last 10 pounds for 3 weeks. How did you folks that have reached goal loss those last tough pounds. It seems that just following the plan is not working. I have tried everything except stopping my exercise for a week to see if that would help. Any ideas would be appreciated...

First of all, congratulations!!!!!.

It got sooo slow at the end for me! Others have just breezed right on down to goal..

I ended up transitioning a little early... then lowered my goal, went back to 5&1 and lost 8 more pretty quickly over a couple of months. Now it's slowing again... so I'm going back to T&M... if I still need to get these last 4 off, I'll goback on 5&1 before the end of the year..

I think it's a very personal decision when you transition. There's a support thread in the Almost There forum for people going through the exact same thing as you, check it out and join us!..

I got stuck for over a month trying to loose the last 5 pounds..

I decided to transition early. I spoke to Nutrisystem and they confirmed that was the best alternative for me..

You might want to join us in transition and see what happens..

I'm going to go back on the 5 & 1 on Jan 2 if I haven't lost the last 5 while transitioning..

I m having the same problem getting over the line to ONEDERLAND I am so close but keep going up and down the same 1.5 and can't GET THERE!.

Wow heidi, this program has really worked for you. You Lost all that weight since May, that is impressive. You inspire me to continue and go to my original goal weight of 165...

POPPY - have you been doing everything the same for the last 3 weeks and sticking with the Medifast plan completely? Getting all your water in (and more?). If not, you need to make sure you stay with the plan all the way through. It'll work. If so, maybe try mixing it up a bit. Have your L&G at a different time of day. Skip the bars entirely and have a shake instead.

A different routine may kick start something for you.

I was so excited for the last 10 pounds, and it seemed to take longer than any other 10 pounds, but when I look back at the calendar, it really didn't at all. Just me being anxious.

You'll make it. Don't necessarily switch to transition until you're really ready. Only you know when you're happy with your body. When I hit my original goal, I decided to drop another 10, and I'm so glad I did. I am really happy with my results now...

OK, I am going to go for it. The nutritional staff don't think I can stay their since I have never weighed 165 in my adult life. When I graduated from high school I was playing football, weighed 185 pounds, and had a 30 inch waist. They think 175 would be more realistic. I currently weigh around 178 and am not satisfied with my look so I want to go lower...

I log my info every day under my plan and the numbers say I am staying within the limits. I don't eat the bars at all but I do eat a lot of the higher carb vegetables. I think I will try a week of the lower carb vegetables and just chicken to see how that works. I think I am in a big time plateau but I have lost a lot of weight in a short period of time. Look at Heidi's numbers; she has really worked the plan...
