My first question is: How do I get a hold of somebody on match.com when they arent a subscriber?.

My next question is: Hi fellow Ivillagers!  I am in need of some advice from some 'sexperts'.  My husband and I are just recovering from a rocky part of our marriage and things had been going horribly wrong between us until yesterday.  We had shut down our lines of communication and were completely avoiding each other!  We talked and worked things out and are just as happy as we were the day we got married..

We've decided to try to plan a Sexy date using Match.com this weekend and need some suggestions.  We do not have a lot of extra cash lying so let's try to keep it simple.  By sexy I mean something that is going to be relaxing and get our hormones flowing..

We have always had the greatest sex and have never had a problem in the bedroom. We just want to experiment with something different outside the home.  A hotel is out of the question due to cash flow but I'm pretty much open to any suggestion!.

HELP US PLAN A WEEKEND TO REMEMBER! =).

Relaxing and sexy outside the home...hmmm...I think for your first reunited rendezvous it is best to keep things simple.  What gets your hormones going?  Is it food, music, liquor, sitting back and smoking a cigar?  Is it getting massages?  Everyone is different.  I say...eat your favorite meals, drink your favorite drinks, listen to your favorite tunes, shut out the world, and maybe you can find an inexpensive hotel for the night - it's fun dirtying someone else's linens. ..

Can I respectfully ask you something? Does this really happen overnight in some relationships? One day things are going horribly wrong, there is no communication and two people in question are on the brink of a break up and then next day they talk and work everything out and suddenly become very happy again? Just out of interest, can you elaborate on what went on in your marriage? I know this wasn't the point of your post and apologies if you don't want to share...

To answer your question, I have been battling with being diagnosed as Bi-Polar II for the past year and he'd just about had enough of the depression and everything that goes along with being Bi-Polar.  I'd had enough of being avoided...being avoided to try to prevent any provocation of my anger & outbursts.  I had to seek a lot of outside help last week with doctors and therapists.  My meds were changed and I apologized to my husband for being so hard to live with.  Luckily I have a very understanding, loving, forgiving husband that LOVES me very much.  I feel like myself again and feel like I can be a better wife to my husband now..

I hope that answers your question.  If he wasn't so loving, understanding and forgiving, this wouldn't be possible..

Thank you very much - this does indeed answer my question..

As far as the sexy date... my bf (of 4+ years) and I have those more or less every Saturday and Sunday lol. To us, a 'date' at home is a boozy night with lots of red wine, very loud alternative (think glam/metal/gothic) music, good food (I'm not the one who cooks it either lol),  lots of touching each other, saying silly things, dancing to said music in a silly 'old git' fashion etc etc... It rarely end in s** lol - us being 37 and 41, not 17 and 21 lol - but that's not the point to us, really - the point is to spend a happy intimate connected fun great few hours together, at home...

Hi jrt_luvr.

Welcome to the board!!!.

Bi-polar is tough on a relationship.  that your'e making is better than most.  so keep up the good work.  and be extra sure to take care of yourself and stay on course with the doctors. .

Since money is tight, get the kids to grandma's (if you have kids) and then find a karma sutra book and pick a couple to try out..

Good Luck,.

Some vino, some toys, some sexy music, silk sheets, Victoria's Secret, perhaps a game of strip poker...
