My first question is: How come girls with equivilant hotornot.com ratings won't talk with me on eharmony or match.com?.

My next question is: 4 Years ago I met a guy in college.. we hit it off right away.. exchanged # and emails and kept in touch for a long time after class ended.. I changed my # and email and never told him.. When I signed onto my old email one day I saw that he had emailed me.. I was shocked he even remembered me..

We make plans and then something always comes up.. Since March to end of April of this year we were talking every day.. he was just seeing someone and he was dealing with issues within the relationship.. we were always friends so I decided to be there for him.. they ended up getting back together and me and him never spk until about 2 weeks ago when he texted me to apologize for his behavior and how they broke up and he never meant to hurt me the way he did..

He texted me and sd that he reallly wants to hang out with me he just needs time.. she is still trying to be part of his life.. according to him she wants to get bck together and he doesnt she wont leave him alone he told me he doesnt want to bring anyone into that situation especially one person he is trying to start a relationship (thru Match.com) with.. He sd he needs time....

Is this a lame way of saying he isnterested because he hasn't seen me in 4 years and texts or calls me every day... I am confused any advice anyone has would be great because I am about to go crazy.....

He probably doesn't even know what his motives are! he sounds confused, stay away from him till he sorts out his feelings. even if he just wants to hang out as friends, if there is the possibility that either of you two would start developing feelings for each other, it would just be a bad outcome either way.If he does leave the girlfriend for you, you don't know if he's completely over her and I find that guys on the rebound make bad companions.orIf he doesn't leave the girlfriend, he might try to have the best of both worlds and play with your emotions or, you'll fall for him, but he'll still be with the girlfriend...

I say give him all the time that he needs...forever.  And you move on to someone else. Nothing is more aggravating than dealing with a man like that.  If you are a priority then he would set aside the time for you and not keep cancelling...

Baloney. If he wanted to end it, he'd end it. If a man (or woman) is still communicating with an ex (other than if they have children together or are dealing with financial concerns)..they haven't moved on.

At least he had the courtesy to tell you he doesnt want to bring anyone else into it (if he's telling the truth).

Confused people, confuse people. Focus on attracting someone who is ready to be in a new, committed relationship, that has let go of old ties. He hasn't. You deserve someone who is available, NOW...

I agree with all the others, this guy is a total confused loser.  Its good you found out very early.  Move on you deserve better, dont even be his friend.  He will try and manipulate your feelings..
