Started Medifast in January at almost 400. Got down to 320 by May. Summertime hits. Yay, fun in the sun right? More like, "Enjoy your weight gain, dummy." After logging into the site today for the first time in a while and seeing what I weighed two months ago, compared to today (342), I'm just... angry and frustrated! The parties, bourbon, chinese buffets are all great but not anymore. It's as if I need something to bite down on out of frustration when a craving hits my brain.

"Will power?! Are you there... ? I hope to find you again..."..

Seriously though, I understand completely! I think of how I could look, how I could feel and I am disappointed in myself. But I guess the past will always be there, huh? It is the future we have to work on. You CAN do this...

Many of us have done the same thing. I started last year lost about 50 pounds, went off plan and gained back 20. But, guess what? We've got to keep going. You're still smaller than you were and I'm sure you learned some excellent skills that will help you stay on plan this time until the end. Try not to continue to beat yourself up and just move forward. Think of those few pounds as a learning experience you needed to have to figure out where you want to go and who you want to be...

You are not alone. I did this before my son turned one last year. Lost 35 lbs in 3 months... Now I am here again. Gained back all 35 plus 3 lbs. I have been back OP for 2.5 weeks and so far I am 10 lbs down..

You haven't failed until you stop trying and nothing is impossible. I saw a quote today that I absolutely loved and it applies here....

I think there's a silver lining.... If you can get yourself restarted, you really only had a small slide. My mom has been thin since she was a teen. When she gains a few pounds she knuckles down and takes it off. That is the habit of a thin person. As I see it, stopping yourself now and getting it going in the right direction is a step to being thin...

Welcome back! try to look at the weight you've lost and didn't gain back. You sound pretty mad at yourself and ready to run with it again. Congratulations! Clearly you can do this since you had such a great starting run. You're going to do great things!..

Welcome back to being on plan! I read a lot of posts on here before my food arrived and I learned that "cheating" would cause me to feel like I was watching Ground Hog Day. Doing Day 1 over and over. I didn't want to do that, so I have stuck to the plan 100%, it's only been 5 days, but I am determined to do this. I don't want to spend a ton of money on MF, so the sooner I can lose the weight, transition and get to the maintenance phase, the better..

I'm in the same boat too! Lost 90lbs on MF, then gained back nearly 20 after a vacation and a surgery. But now I'm back to lose it again before I get out of control...
