Does anyone have a recipe for this ive been searching and don't seem to find it .. I heard someone talking about it in the chat .. Medifast Eggs and Medifast Vanilla shake I think were mentioned? Thanks..

I have 2 custard recipes. The first is the one with Medifast eggs and vanilla pudding. The 2nd is one I created pretty much by accident, but it turned out to be delicious..

Medifast Vanilla Custard.

1 packet of medifast eggs.

1 packet of medifast vanilla pudding or shake (I used the pudding).

1 cup of water.

1/8 teaspoon cinnamon (if desired).

1/8 teaspoon vanilla (if desired).

1 packet Splenda (if desired).

Preheat oven to 350. Mix all ingredients in the blender. Pour batter into small ramekins or mini-muffins pans. (I used silicone mini muffin pans, but if you use metal, spray them with non-stick spray). Bake until the custard is set (mine took about 15-20 minutes)..

I did not use the vanilla or the Splenda in mine, and they came out absolutely delicious!.

The recipe is 2 medifast meals, and I got 3 mini-custards for each meal. I had 3 for breakfast fresh out of the oven, and the other 3 for 2nd breakfast. I have never counted condiments, so I am not certain, but I think the recipe includes 3 condiments (maybe 2 not sure how much cinnamon and vanilla equal one condiment)..

Chocolate Custard.

1packet of Medifast scrambled eggs.

2 Tbsp egg white substitute.

1/2 cup water.

1 tsp vanilla extract.

1/4 tsp cinnamon.

1/4 tsp nutmeg.

Dash of cayenne pepper (great if you like Mexican style chocolate, if not, leave it out).

2 Tbsp walden farms chocolate dip.

Splenda, if desired.

Put everything except the WF chocolate in a Pyrex (or other microwave safe bowl).

Mix well with a wisk, or use a fork and bowl scraper to get everything combined.

Microwave for roughly 60-90 seconds (until the eggs just start to cook, but are not thoroughly cooked). The batter will rise, just push it down. Mix again to break up any large bits of egg..

Let cool for a few minutes.

Put the egg batter in your personal blender with the chocolate dip, mix until well blended..

Taste, and add some Splenda if you want it a bit sweeter...

I just had the vanilla for "brunch/lunch". Really good,. I had not baked any Medifast oven recipies before. Worth it. Better than them microwave recipies I have used so far. I am sure you could do a chocolate one or really any other flavor with the shakes, less complicated than the chocolate recipe here. Did anyone try that?..

I'm glad you enjoyed it. It really was an "oops" kind of recipe. I had intended to do one thing with the eggs, but changed my mind halfway through, so I just mentally ran through my options of the egg mix that I had begun. I knew I had some Walden Farms chocolate in the fridge, and went through my cupboard for the spices, and voila! Chocolate custard...
