I eat cheese a lot.
Not sure about the South Beach The vegetarian guidelines for Medifast say you can have 6 oz of low fat cheese for your lean But they really recommend that you dont' have a little here and there because it's hard to keep track of.
I love cheese - couldnt' care less if I ever had meat again So it's a great alternative for me. I do drink a lot of water on cheese days though because it is ALL salty no matter who makes it..
Well heidi you are doing something right I cant beleive how much you have lost in such a short time, it does make me sad sometimes when I see how much farther others are and we started at the same time, but I know that is my fault and I dont have total control over food yet. I know some only do shakes every day but I cant do that and I dont think that will teach me to eat right in the future.
I eat one wedge of Laughing Cow Lite with my scrambled eggs, it lets me feel like I am cheating and eating an awesome cheese omelet..... That has got to be some of the best cheese ever.... so creamy!! Yumm!!..

Yep- Laughing Cow is the best! it is the only cheese that isn't scary cheese...
