I'm on week 8 and loooooove my Medifast shakes in the blender. Well today I dropped the jar in the sink and broke it. It was a Black & Decker ProBlend Brushed Stainless Steel Blender. I have contacted the mfr about a replacement jar but am not very hopeful. So in the mean time I tried to find the personal blender at Walmart-no luck. So I tried a snowcone/slush macine as others have advised.

My fridge doesn't make ice and I only have trays which makes too big of ice evidently because 4 of my 7 cubes didn't crush. So here's my question: Does the personal blender or magic bullet make a big enough shake?.

I normally put 7 full sized cubes and 8 oz of water together for a biiiig delish shake. I need something that can handle that kind of load. Thanks a bunch!.

Jennifer..

OHHHHHHH get a magic bullet. I am not sure how I survived without one. Not only does it make fabulous shakes/caps/ ice creams, but I also use it chop, shred, steam, make sauces, and pestos, grate cheese, etc. DH even loved it so we got a 2nd one for his traveling. It is about 50 bucks at Target. I know you can buy them at Wal-Mart.com and at Kmart too. Seriously I cannot say enough good things about it!..

Yeah I've heard good things about what they can do...I'm concerned about their capacity! How many cubes and how much liquid? Thanks!..

I must put at least 16oz of liquid in mine....not sure about the whole ice cubes though as my freezer has the ice crusher feature.....I think you'd be fine with it though...

Jennifer I don't think the magic bullet would be big enough for you. I finally bought one and love it but I have to use the smaller ice cubes and it only really holds about 16 oz max. It really does help with the cream soups though...

I love my bullet, but 8 oz of water, and one cup of ice is about as much as I can get into it...
