Sounds pretty straightforward to me; what are you puzzled about?.

So bring it up again the next time you talk... Sounds like he didn't want to get into that discussion when he had stuff to do. Fair enough. I'm a little astounded you've gone three months without seeing one another once and you only live a mile apart. Get the ball rolling, girl..
You are puzzled because you cannot tell he's tone from an e-mail. I personally cannot get to know someone without talking or seeing the person, but that's just me. I'm 29 years old and very old fashion. I think e-mail and texting is for flirting and BS-ing, not for getting to know someone. I want to hear the person's voice and the tone of certain things that is said. You have his phone # you should call him sometimes...
I haven't any advice for you on this, but I did find these links which you may find useful:.

I;'m curious if you live a mile apart why you've put off meeting or even talking for so long a period of time. Maybe it's time for at least a phone call.
Our gut always knows the answer even when our heart doesn't want to admit it.
Yes at some point you have to meet!.
Much can be misconstrued from email and texting. Talking is the way to go!.
