Can anyone offer advice on the sugar free syrups and flavor enhancers? I have been on plan 3 months and want to try some of these. DaVinci and another company seem to show up on these boards (I can't remember the other name).

What has been your experience with these? Any recommendations? Particularly pancake syrup and flavors to make vanilla shakes/puddings more pleasing.

Thanks...

I lovvve the walden farms pancake syrup.. it's more runny than it's full fat/sugar relative, but I think it has the same taste, mmm..

Hi!.

I love the Torani brand SF syrups, I get them at Cost Plus World Market. I use them to change up the vanilla shakes and puddings, and also to flavor my water sometimes. Also I make my own SF soda by adding the flavor to sparkling water..

You just have to watch how often you use them so you don't mess too much with your daily calorie/carb count.

I have pretty much every SF flavor that they make.

I have never used the pancake syrups as I make my pancake into a muffin and it is sweet enough as is..

I think it goes without saying that everyones taste buds are different, so you may want to try 1 product from different companies to see what you like. I prefer DaVinci syrups. They have a pancake syrup, I also have Kahlua (my favorite) Raspberry, Caramel, Toffee, Coconut, Orange, Lemon, Lime, and at least a dozen others. Torani is another brand, they're good too. I personally cannot stand anything from Walden Farms, but so many others love them, so don't go by me. Have fun experimenting!..

I love Mrs Butterworth's sugar free. To me it taste just like the regular and it's thick too...

I agree with lesslucy that everybody has WAY different taste buds! I'm always amazed that something I hate is what everyone else loves, and vice versa! To me, the Capella drops taste like alcohol, yuck. I mostly use plain old flavor extracts from the spice aisle at the grocery store (butter, almond, lemon, peppermint, etc), dry spices (pumpkin pie, apple pie, cinnamon) and Hershey's sugar free chocolate syrup. I also use Log Cabin sugar free maple syrup on my pancakes. I would suggest you buy a little bit and try it before making a big online order anywhere. I bought a bunch of Capella and I never use them...

I've been using DaVinci - I can't find them in my stores, but you can order online for $5.95 shipping no matter how many bottles you order!.

I have heard good things about Cappella drops. Thanks, Kathy, for the link - I'm gonna try them.

I use the WF pancake syrup and blend it with Mrs. Butterworth's SF - cuts the calories & carbs way down...

I have a few of the DaVinci SF syrups: Kahlua (yummy) and hazelnut.

I have one Starbucks: Caramel (really yummy).

I like the Log Cabin sugar free syrup. It's really good. Not thick though. But I like it and my family can't tell the difference..

Extracts are good too. I have vanilla and peppermint...

I use Torani brand from Cost Plus World Market too. I have Vanilla, Hazelnut, Raspberry & Pumpkin Pie. I want to buy every single flavor, but at $6-7 a bottle, it will come in time..

I just got my first Walden Farms product last night from Sunflower Market. I got the Honey Dijon Salad Dressing. I took a little taste of it and, considering 0 cal - 0 carb - 0 fat, it is pretty dang good. At Sunflower Market, the dressings are only $3.79 so I look forward to trying more of those..

I haven't tried the Capella drops, but people either seem to LOVE them or HATE them. Maybe Santa will leave a sample pack in my stocking so I can give them a try.

I have some Wal-Mart brand Sugar Free syrup that I used before Medifast. It tastes pretty good, but still is too high in carbs. I used it once in the beginning on a pancake, but haven't used it since...

Thanks for the advice. I have used a store brand sugar free pancake syrup. It is ok but I am ready to branch out and try some new things...

Http://www.netrition.com/ is a good place to get SF Syrups, Walden Farms, PB2, Fitnutz and peanut flour. And shipping is only $4.95!..
