Hi veterans, I have a question for you. If you don't know the answer, don't worry, I can call Medifast tomorrow and ask, but thought I would try this because I am curious right now-.

If we only eat 6 Medifast meals a day and skip the L&G, will we lose weight faster?..

Oh, ok, so I should just let it happen as it happens then and be ok with it even if they are small loses...

Listen to MT_Cup. Plus, that could put you under 600 calories a day, depending on what your choices were. You'd be inviting brain damage: "No matter how good the nutrition is in the product, the brain will start to break down under 600 calories."

I can't imagine being anywhere near 600 calories would be a good thing...

I say a loss is a loss no matter how small..

All of our bodies are different anyway and I know if I was not doing Medifast I would be losing a lot lot lot lot slower or have way more weeks with no losses. So again I"m happy to get a loss when I can...

OK, thanks. Well, I did it today just to try it out and it feel ok, but it was reeealy challenging. Luckily I still have two meals left. I am glad I tried though because tomorrow it will be easier to have the 5 and 1..

Also, P.S. How do you put that weight tracker thing on the bottom of your posts?..

There actually is a complete (all MF) program BUT you have to be under constant doctor's supervision. It isn't advised without okaying through your physician..

With that said several years ago I asked my doc about this. He okayed it for a temporary run since I have zero medical issues. I did it for about 3 weeks. I didn't lose considerably more, something 1.9 lbs more in that 3 week period than the previous 3 week period on 5&1. The real problem? I really, really, really missed being able to eat that one meal with my family. I missed it.

Plus I was "slow". My brain seemed to seriously slow down..

So if you are truly interested then you need to talk with your doctor. It is highly dangerous to not be monitored..

5&1 (as written, 100%) is the best way to lose weight fastest in my opinion...

Thanks. You know that's funny you mentioned the slow brain because aside from weakness, the main thing I felt today is like I was in slow motion. I will definately start the 5 and 1 tomorrow... in fact, I will make up some meat and veggies for my next meal...

I am one of the queens of slow losses here. LOL I averaged less than a pound a week my whole 10 months on 5&1. If I can answer any specific questions or concerns feel free to private message me...
